Tim Wes makes me Smile

My recommendation of the month...and the next 1795300...months: Tim Wes

He's a Dutch sax player who recently released his first solo album, "On My Way" after working with artists like Georgie Carter, Kempi, Mr.Probz, Jonathan Batiste and Candy Dulfer.  On his website it says Tim Wes is "one of the most rhythmic replies to questions about the future of jazz" and I absolutely agree. All 12 tracks on the album are just incredibly rhythmic, soulful and innovatory. My favorite track? "Sunshine you make me smile"

La Clerecía

Visited this place for the first time last week and I have to admit it was love at first sight. This is one of the most beautiful places and views of Salamanca. I highly recommend it! La Clerecía is the building of the former Royal College of the Holy Spirit of the Society of Jesus (Real Colegio del Espíritu Santo de la Compañía de Jesús). The University Pontificia de Salamanca is based in this building.

Visité este lugar por primera vez la semana pasada y tengo que admitir que fue amor a primera vista. Este es uno de los lugares más hermosos, con la mejores vistas, de Salamanca. Se lo recomiendo. La Clerecía es el edificio del antiguo Real Colegio del Espíritu Santo de la Compañía de Jesús. La Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, tiene su sede en el edificio.

Saw this, written on the floor, on my way to work. It somehow made me think about life, about having the power to know everything will turn out just fine if you just believe in it.
I have to admit it made my day and I loved it.

Un minuto de arte - DA2

We paid a short visit to the museum Domus Artium 2002, a.k.a. DA2, at Salamanca. The museum used to be a prison and the architecture still reflects this. The main hall still looks like a prison hall. I like this museum and it's expositions of contemporary art.
The exposition we saw: "Última Pintura en las colecciones del DA2 y Fundación Coca-Cola"

Hicimos una breve visita al Domus Artium 2002, también conocido como DA2, en Salamanca. El museo fue una prisión y la arquitectura aún refleja esto. El salón principal todavía es como una sala de la prisión. Me gusta este museo y sus exposiciones de arte contemporáneo. 
La expo que vímos: "Última Pintura en las colecciones del DA2 y Fundación Coca-Cola"

Sound Board of Life

Picture I took while working.... I love sound boards. I think they look cool, but don't know why. 

Here's a thought: sometimes I wish life were a sound board, then I would be able to adjust everything and everyone to make life sound just the way I like.

Breakeven

Breakeven is a song by Train, and one of my favorite songs in the world. Usually I don't like the covers I see on YouTube but this one's pretty great.

The singer is Max Schneider. That name might not sound familiar but his face probably does. He was the model who accompanied Madonna in her D&G campaign.

This video is a collaboration with Kurt Schneider (no relation), who makes awesome videos and collaborates with lots of great artists. His YouTube channel is definitely worth visiting.

Breakeven es una canción de Train, y una de mis canciones favoritas. Normalmente no me gustan los covers que veo en YouTube de esta canción, pero éste es bastante bien.

El cantante es Max Schneider. Este nombre igual no le suena, pero su rostro probablemente si. Él era el modelo que acompañó a Madonna en su campaña de D & G.
